Job Summary:

InsuranceUnderwriteris responsible for increasing sales by way of existing clients and securing new business customers by providing industry leading customer service, product knowledge and creative problem solving. They are also responsible for profit and loss of their underwriting territory.

Develop proper account pricing based on established company standards and manage an underwriting territory in accordance with company objectives and policies. Evaluate, select, accept, reject, price, and service policies.

Education Requirement:

  • High school diploma required. Associates degree or higher preferred.

Given the responsibilities of this position, HUB is offering a compensation structure of base pay + commission. The expected base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 annually and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. In addition, this position is eligible for commission, which will bewholly derivedfrom the successful candidate's closed sales transactions.The commission structure variesbyscope of work and book of business.
