As a core member of our development team, you will touch every part of the software development lifecycle. Specifically, you will:

  • Develop & Maintain: Design, build, test, and maintain a variety of web applications, back-office systems, databases, and third-party data integrations.
  • Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and map out application architecture.
  • Optimize & Administer: Assist with the support, performance tuning, and administration of our IIS web servers and SQL Server database platforms.

  • Shape Our Processes: Contribute to building internal development standards, processes, and methodologies to help our engineering team scale efficiently.
  • Share Knowledge: Work closely with fellow developers to share ideas, brainstorm solutions, and provide constructive peer feedback.

What We're Looking For (Requirements)

  • Industry Context: Direct experience developing software for the financial services industryโ€”specifically systems handling loan origination, underwriting, and loan servicing.
  • Core Tech Stack: Proven production experience with software, web, and database development utilizing:
    • ASP.NET & VB
    • JavaScript & AJAX
    • IIS & SQL Server
  • Reporting Expertise: Current, hands-on experience designing and developing SAP Crystal Reports for complex, data-heavy reporting requirements.
  • Tools & Libraries: Proficiency with MS Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Telerik UI for ASP.NET, and GitHub.
  • Integration Skills: Practical experience building and consuming web services and API integrations.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Work Style: The ability to work independently, manage your own tasks, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education & Legal: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field. Must have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Selected candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background check.
