Job Description

Retail Sales Support provides day-to-day support to the Retail Sales team, with primary responsibility for supporting Deli sales in the morning and Retail order support in the afternoon. This role handles customer orders, credits, and service inquiries, works through assigned customer call sheets, and helps ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. The position also works closely with sales and operations teams to support customer satisfaction and may assist with additional department or operational tasks as needed.

This is a fast-paced, detail-driven role supporting customer orders, resolving issues, and helping ensure our customers receive accurate, timely service.

Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To

  • Manage customer orders, changes, cancellations, and credits
  • Contact assigned customers using daily call sheets to collect orders
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product and pricing information
  • Process order adjustments and credits accurately and on time
  • Communicate updates and customer needs to the sales team
  • Answer inbound calls and assist with order placement
  • Monitor inventory and product quality through regular warehouse walks
  • Stay current on produce items, seasonal availability, and promotions
  • Use internal systems to track orders, pricing, and customer data
  • Partner with sales, operations, and other teams to support customer service
  • Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as needed
