Job description

Overview
The sales operations manager will manage the cross functional team supporting the life cycle of Project Business within Hussmann Performance Parts. The position will oversee the daily activities around the support of project acquisition, quote preparation, forecasting, project management/job coordination, and warranty support services. Also, will manage team and resources to provide proper sales support coverage for each region and account; and manage process evaluation and improvement initiatives taking in account the entirety of the project life cycle.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute long term strategy for the Performance Parts Project Sales Operations team to support market and customer demands and to maximize productivity, including balancing workloads, cross-training, technical skills development, process standardization.
  • Manage and mentor direct reports through inspirational, hands-on leadership; provide active mentoring and guidance to ensure professional growth and business effectiveness.
  • Leverage data and KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) to apply resources effectively and create appropriate strategic plans to reach revenue growth goals through acquisition and development of project opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide a consistent customer experience at all points of customer contact; ensuring projects flow smoothly from quoting phase to punch list completion.
  • Responsible for professional development of direct reports to ensure professional and personal advancement by conducting regularly scheduled one on one discussions; reviewing performance metrics and professional growth opportunities.
  • Ensure that standardized processes and procedures are leveraged within the project management, sales and quoting teams in order to positively impact productivity.
  • Lead, create, maintain, and monitor policies and steps including but not limited to customer interaction, customer satisfaction, and order flow to drive maximum customer value while keeping proper controls and regulations in effect. Enforce all company policies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years B2B Construction, Business, Industrial, HVAC/R, Food Retail or similar business experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and development of both direct reports and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to speak fluently across all business channels
  • Knowledge of Hussmann business practices and products required
