At FBC Remodel, we believe in transforming spaces and lives through exceptional design and

craftsmanship. As our Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health

and success of our projects by working closely with our talented team of designers, project

managers, and craftsmen to manage financial records, prepare reports, and oversee accounts

payable and receivable.


Job Details

Oversee timely and accurate handing and recording of Accounts Payable and Accounts

Receivable.

Reconcile bank statements with company records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial

records.

Maintain and update the files, documentation, and financial transactions of our contracted

trade partners.

Oversee company credit cards, receipts, and reimbursement process.

Enter new remodel projects into the accounting system. Process and track change orders.

Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and approval of transactions.

Be responsible for year end and month end closing of the company-wide books.

Assist the Director of Finance with financial reporting and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Must have Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or minimum of five years in accounting experience.
  • Three to five years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Ideally desktop QuickBooks)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principals (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and high level of reporting accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
