ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Soho Women's store

Status: Part Time

Compensation: $17.00/hr

Position Summary:

As a Kinnect Summer Intern, you will be spending time in our Retail stores supporting the daily operations of the store under the guidance of the leadership team and the HQ office by supporting the cross-functional initiatives within the office. By completing a vast range of tasks, you'll be able to build substantial work experience, with the goal of adding to all you've accomplished with the Kinnect Foundation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the product is readily available for clients.

  • Ensure assigned tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Provide a friendly and welcoming environment to both our external and internal clients.

  • Work with the sales-floor team to ensure customers are receiving products in a timely manner.

  • Ensure adherence to all company policy and procedures.

  • Promote and maintain an environment that is sharply focused on consistently delivering exceptional, positive, in-store customer service.

  • Support the Client Advisors to ensure clients are receiving genuine and efficient service both during and after their store experience.

  • Assist in completion and accuracy of any/all operational tasks, as business needs.

  • Support the sales floor replenishment, stockroom organization, and the upkeep of visual standards.

  • Assist the store management team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard retail operations.

  • Assist with day-to-day HQ office operations.

  • Support HQ team members with administrative tasks or ad hoc projects, as business needs.

  • Complete all assigned office tasks on time while staying organized and paying attention to detail.

  • Complete all assigned projects given by your HQ manager.

Special Projects / Tasks:

  • Aid during any Visual initiatives, as needed.

  • Aid any direct projects from your HQ manager, as needed.

  • Attend any professional development courses, as needed.

  • Complete final HQ Kintern project for presentation.
