Job Summary:
MDAEdge is a company focused on retail operations, seeking a Retail Operations Analyst to support business objectives. The role involves analyzing and preparing strategic plans, advising on resource allocation, and conducting operational analyses to recommend improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and prepare strategic and operational plans to support business objectives.
• Advise and direct business teams on initiative prioritization and resource allocation.
• Maintain regular communication and engagement with stakeholders.
• Track, update, and manage metrics, including the business scorecard.
• Conduct operational analyses focused on effectiveness and capacity utilization, recommending process improvements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of directly relevant work experience. Alternatives: PhD or Law + 3 years; Master's + 4 years; Associate's + 6 years; High School + 7 years.
• Strong background in retail and a solid understanding of retail mathematics.
• Previous experience in merchandise planning within a retail environment is required.
• Experience with retail planning KPIs and ability to derive insights and narratives from data.
• Advanced skills in Excel and experience with Tableau are essential.
• Ability to present data-driven stories for business decision-making.
• Ideally, 5 years of experience in a similar retail planning role.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with enterprise planning tools such as O9 is a plus.
