FreeWheel is seeking a Commercial Marketing Manager to lead sales enablement for Buyer Cloud, FreeWheelโ€™s advanced enterprise buying platform. This role will serve as the marketing lead for Buyer Cloud as a DSP, developing differentiated positioning, compelling narratives, and impactful content that drive awareness, adoption, and growth among independent and political agencies as well as data and tech partners. The ideal candidate is equal parts marketer, storyteller, strategist, and business partner. They will translate product capabilities, market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into clear value propositions, sales tools, thought leadership, and integrated go-to-market programs that help our commercial teams win in the market.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Differentiate Buyer Cloud from traditional DSPs and alternative buying platforms by articulating its unique advantages in transparency, control, customization, and premium supply access.  

  • Build and maintain Buyer Cloud sales materials, including pitch decks, one-sheets, case studies, training materials, and executive presentations. 

  • Create vertical-specific narratives for various client segments 

  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure commercial teams are equipped with current and compelling Buyer Cloud narratives. 

  • Work across thought leadership content, blogs, reports, customer stories, newsletters, and campaign assets that strengthen Buyer Cloud's market presence. 

  • Translate complex industry topics, including CTV, programmatic advertising, transparency, identity and AI into clear, buyer-focused content. 

  • Support product launches, industry events, and marketing campaigns through strategic content development. 

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, buyer needs, and market opportunities. 

  • Partner with research, insights, and product teams to uncover compelling data and customer proof points. 

  • Transform research findings and platform insights into actionable content that supports both sales conversations and industry thought leadership. 

  • Collaborate on launch plans and adoption strategies for new Buyer Cloud capabilities and initiatives. 

  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Events, Communications, and Marketing teams for consistent messaging both internally and externally 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, sales marketing, B2B marketing, sales enablement, or related fields. 

  • Experience in Adtech, preferably marketing a DSP. 

  • Clear understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, and trading desks. 

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts. 

  • Demonstrated success developing sales enablement materials, positioning, and go-to-market strategies. 

  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across sales, product, and marketing organizations. 

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 

  • Team oriented with a growth mindset and the ability to collaborate well cross functionally  

  • A passion for advertising and media โ€“ and where it is going next in the AI era 

Preferred 

  • Experience working in CTV, programmatic buying, audience solutions, retail media, identity, measurement, or media activation platforms. 

  • Familiarity with agency buying workflows and the evolving programmatic advertising landscape. 

  • Experience leveraging research, customer insights, and market intelligence to inform strategic marketing decisions.

Salary:

New York Pay Range: $111,852.12 - $167,778.18

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
