Job description

1st Shift (7am to 4pm)

Hourly pay rate: $27.00 - $38.00, based on experience

Job Responsibilities

1. Assisting Supervisor in scheduling 30 plus employees

2. Scheduling shop activities, supplies and equipment deliveries

3. Medicator repairs

4. Assist in interviews and farm tours

5. Able to document employee behavior

6. Able to do new hire safety orientation

7. Assist in maintaining our cultural beliefs

8. Ability to meet internal and external customer expectations

9. Must be available for scheduled weekends and holiday hours

10. Must be able to pass a CDL physical

11. Must be able to work overtime as needed

12. Must know how to weld metal

13. Must know how to use a band saw and numerous hand tools

Minimum Qualifications

 * Knowledge of wood and metal fabrication

 * High school diploma or equivalent/Good oral communication skills

 * Strong organizational skills managing own workload & maintaining inventories

 * Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with good operating record

 * Understand & perform computer functions

 * Performance results must have met expectations in attendance, dependability, performance, quality, behavior, cooperation & safety

 * PHYSICAL: No restrictions on repetitive activities of lifting, bending, twisting, climbing, working in hot dusty environment with ammonia present

 * No restrictions on wearing personal protective devices

Preferred Qualifications

 * Able to comply and enforce DOT inspections

 * Able to respond at all hours to emergency calls and meet company expectations

 * Ability to use & understand Word and Excel

 * Exceeding performance results in the following: Attendance, dependability, performance, quantity, behavior, cooperation, safety, problem solving and least cost

To be considered for this position you must have completed six (6) months in your present position. Team Members with less than six (6) months may be considered for promotion or transfer based on the needs of the company.
