Job description

Brief Summary: The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and executing high-impact visual assets that elevate the brand across digital and physical touchpoints. The designer will translate strategic objectives into compelling creative concepts, ensuring brand consistency and visual excellence across all channels. As a key member of the Creative & Marketing team, this position collaborates closely with partners in Ecommerce, Brand, Retail, and Marketing Operations to deliver innovative, on-brand designs from concept through final production.


Essential Functions:

  1. Digital Design
    1. Design and develop digital assets including website banners, landing pages, eCommerce graphics, email creatives, and social media content.
    2. Create visually compelling graphics that align with UX/UI best practices and enhance the online shopping experience.
    3. Collaborate closely with eCommerce, Marketing, and UI/UX teams to support product launches, promotional campaigns, and onsite merchandising initiatives.
    4. Ensure brand and visual consistency across all digital touchpoints and marketing channels.
  2. Retail and Physical Design
    1. Design in-store signage, point-of-purchase materials, promotional displays, showroom graphics, packaging, and wayfinding assets.
    2. Create scalable artwork templates for retail teams across 40+ showrooms (or similar retail network).
    3. Ensure all print-ready files meet production specifications, vendor requirements, and brand guidelines.
  3. Brand and Creative Execution
    1. Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling that elevate the brand and support marketing strategies.
    2. Contribute to campaign mood boards, design systems, and seasonal creative directions.
    3. Apply brand identity standards across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency in typography, color, layout, and imagery.
    4. Retouch images, manage creative assets, and prepare files for web and print production.
  4. Project and Cross Functional Collaboration
    1. Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    2. Partner with Creative Director, Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail, and Photography teams to deliver high-quality work.
    3. Participate in creative reviews and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  5. Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer working across digital and print.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating work for ecommerce brands and/or retail environments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma or Sketch a plus.
  • Experience designing for ecommerce websites, landing pages, emails, and digital campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, composition, and color theory.
  • Ability to produce print-ready files with an understanding of print production processes.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management tools, CMS systems, or ecommerce platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent organization, communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Produce motion graphics and animations for digital ads, social platforms, emails, websites, in-store screens, and brand campaigns.
  • Ability to make sound, independent judgments
  • Capacity and desire to expand knowledge of software capabilities
  • Take initiative to plan, organize, and complete assignments independently
  • Initiate, maintain, and complete both short term and long-term projects simultaneously
  • Able to work independently and work effectively as a member of a team
  • Able to handle regular interruptions to serve the needs of others while maintaining focus on multiple priorities and short and long term deadlines
  • Able to finish projects both quickly and accurately
  • Able to proactively seek out ways to improve upon existing methodologies

Preferred:

  1. Experience in retail, consumer goods, CPG, home decor, or home improvement categories.
  2. Motion graphics, animation, or video editing skills (After Effects, Premiere).
  3. Experience supporting photography teams with layouts, retouching, and visual direction.
  4. Understanding of merchandising principles for product display both online and in-store.
