About Horizon Retail Construction:

Horizon Retail Construction is a nationally recognized general contractor specializing in tenant improvement. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Business Development Representative to join the team at our corporate headquarters in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, we take pride in delivering quality projects, building strong relationships, and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in retail construction, tenant improvement, and remodel programs that fit Horizon's core client criteria
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, brokers, and industry stakeholders
  • Responsible for identifying tenant improvement opportunities, developing and maintaining long-term partnerships and representing Horizon Retail Construction with professionalism
  • Lead sales efforts from initial prospecting through onboarding
  • Collaborate with preconstruction and operations teams to verify client requirements
  • Represent Horizon Retail Construction at industry events and networking functions with sales team
  • Track and report sales activity, pipeline development, and prospects
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within tenant improvement, and national rollouts to support Horizon's growth initiatives
  • Support long-term account management and repeat client engagement strategies
