Retail Design Project Manager - Americas
Travel Retail Americas (based in Miami)
JOB SUMMARY
In this exciting role, you will manage and roll-outshop fitting for a selection of +19 L'Oréal Group multi-division brands in Travel Retail Western & Emerging for Americas zone, reporting to a Retail Design Group Manager and in collaboration with retailers and commercial teams.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational responsibility
  • Ensure consistent brand identity, quality, and detailing, adapting DMI guidelines to the specific requirements of the airport environment.
  • Roll out standardized models validated by the Hub Retail Design brand teams, including local technical specificities for the Americas shops.
  • Contribute to implement Flagship Drive projects, achieving targeted retail.
  • Develop new brands pilot projects: Aesop, Miu Miu...

Strategic vision & innovation:
  • Help Area Managers and retailers to develop business, through retail expert positioning.
  • Develop innovative solutions to accelerate business growth and brand implementation.
  • Control and pilot budget investment in link with retail segmentation
  • Consolidate and control brief form communicated by Area Managers and retailers.

Growth & Performance management:
  • Oversee and consolidate the list of projects registered by salesforce on Capex tool.
  • Manage financial and purchase process (including PO creation on MY Market)
  • Conduct quality control of production at the workshop and in-store before implementation, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
  • Share best practices with internal teams and TR Zone fostering continuous improvement and consistent execution.
  • Develop innovative eco-design solutions to meet L'Oréal's sustainability targets.

  • Architecture Execution: Applying the architectural guidelines to a retail environment and supervising the construction or renovation of retail spaces while ensuring that eco-design principles are followed, as well as upholding after-sales services .
  • Scenography: Designing relevant and inspiring O+O space, atmosphere and mood which supports the brand narrative and strengthens the emotional bond between the brand and the customers.
  • Brand local adaptation: Meeting local customer expectations while respecting each brand identity and sense of purpose whilst creating the biggest environmental or social value in the markets.
  • Project planning management: Planning the correct short-term and long-term actions and continuously updating and prioritizing them in order to achieve strategic objectives while meeting strategic deadlines.
  • Budget management: Creating and managing a budget to control the costs and profitability of a department or project.
