Job Title: Customer Service Coordinator - Construction

Location: Caledon, ON

Base Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience).

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated On-Site Customer Service Coordinator to join the team in Caledon. You will be the primary point of contact for homeowners, overseeing quality control walkthroughs and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction for our low-rise residential developments. The ideal candidate brings extensive Tarion knowledge, strong home construction familiarity, and exceptional conflict-resolution skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed Quality Control (QC) walkthroughs of low-rise homes prior to homeowner occupancy.
  • Meet directly with homeowners to address inquiries, manage expectations, and document service or repair requests.
  • Coordinate on-site service work and warranty claims in strict compliance with Tarion warranty guidelines.
  • Serve as the main liaison between homeowners, site superintendents, trades, and the Service Manager.
  • De-escalate challenging homeowner situations with patience, professionalism, and tact.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of customer service experience in the construction/homebuilding industry.
  • In-depth understanding of Tarion Warranty Corporation guidelines, timelines, and claim processes.
  • Practical residential construction knowledge (low-rise preferred) to assess build quality and trade work.
  • Strong and positive attitude and a proven ability to handle diverse client personalities and behaviors under pressure.
  • Full-time on-site availability during operational hours (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
