Job description

Job Summary
Our Client is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Associate to join their team. As a Bankruptcy Associate, you will work closely with their attorneys to provide exceptional representation to clients in various bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of pleadings, motions, and other documents; conducting research; and analyzing financial data.
Requirements
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
* Admission to practice law in at least one state (or eligibility to sit for a bar exam)
* 1-3 years of experience in bankruptcy law, preferably in a law firm or with a bankruptcy trustee
* Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with bankruptcy cases under Chapter 7, 11, and 13
* Familiarity with bankruptcy software and technology
* Experience working with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals
* Strong knowledge of bankruptcy codes, rules, and procedures
