What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a restore associate, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Restore Associate, you need basic retail skills, inventory management experience, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory tracking software, and warehouse equipment like pallet jacks is typically required. Strong customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills help you interact effectively with shoppers and donors. What is a restore associate?

Restore Associates are employees who work in retail environments, particularly in stores that sell donated goods like Habitat for Humanity ReStores. Their primary responsibilities include receiving, sorting, pricing, and displaying donated items, assisting customers, and maintaining store cleanliness.
