Restore Associate information

What is a restore associate?

Restore Associates are employees who work in retail environments, particularly in stores that sell donated goods like Habitat for Humanity ReStores. Their primary responsibilities include receiving, sorting, pricing, and displaying donated items, assisting customers, and maintaining store cleanliness. They may also help with loading and unloading merchandise, providing customer service, and supporting the store’s fundraising and community goals. Restore Associates play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of these stores, which often support charitable housing initiatives.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a restore associate, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Restore Associate, you need basic retail skills, inventory management experience, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory tracking software, and warehouse equipment like pallet jacks is typically required. Strong customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills help you interact effectively with shoppers and donors. These abilities ensure smooth store operations, positive customer experiences, and effective support of the store’s mission.

What are some common challenges faced by restore associates, and how can they be managed effectively?

Restore Associates often encounter physical tasks such as lifting heavy items, organizing inventory, and assisting customers with varied needs, which can be physically demanding and fast-paced. Managing time efficiently during busy donation periods and maintaining a positive customer service attitude are key to success. Building strong communication skills and collaborating closely with team members helps create a supportive work environment, making it easier to handle daily challenges and provide excellent service.

What is the difference between Restore Associate vs Restoration Technician?

Both roles often require similar certifications and work in the same industry, but their daily tasks differ, with the Restore Associate focusing more on coordination and the Technician on physical restoration.

Job description

General Dentist - Herriman, UtahFull-Time | Private Practice | 100% PPO/FFS | Comprehensive Dentistry | Partnership Opportunity

A privately owned, doctor-led dental group is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join an established practice in Herriman, Utah.

This is an opportunity for a dentist who wants more than a basic associate position. You'll join a high-performing private practice with a strong existing patient base, growing new-patient demand, modern technology, and the ability to practice a genuinely broad scope of comprehensive dentistry.

No Medicaid. No corporate quotas. No pressure to refer procedures you are comfortable performing.

For a highly qualified doctor looking to build a long-term future with the organization, partnership may be available.

A Practice With Real Patient Demand

The Herriman office has demonstrated strong, consistent production and accelerating new-patient growth:

  • 281 new patients YTD through July
  • Averaging approximately 40 new patients per month
  • 68 new patients in July alone
  • Approximately $95,000 in average monthly office production
  • Existing doctor averaging approximately $3,500+ in daily production
  • Nearly $100,000 in office production in both June and July

This is not a startup location or an office waiting for patients to arrive. You'll be joining an established practice with a strong foundation already in place and continued opportunity to grow.

Practice Comprehensive Dentistry

The existing procedure mix demonstrates the breadth of clinical opportunity available in Herriman.

Doctors have the ability to perform and grow in:

  • Crown and bridge dentistry
  • CEREC and same-day restorative dentistry
  • Inlays and onlays
  • Molar endodontics
  • Surgical extractions
  • Bone grafting and ridge preservation
  • Implant placement
  • Implant restoration
  • Sinus augmentation
  • Comprehensive restorative dentistry

The current procedure mix includes meaningful production from advanced restorative, endodontic, surgical, and implant procedures - an excellent environment for a dentist who wants to keep more comprehensive care in-house.

Modern Technology & Clinical Support

You'll practice in a modern clinical environment supported by:

  • CEREC Primescan and Primemill
  • CBCT imaging
  • Fully digital workflows
  • Cloud-based practice management
  • AI-supported treatment planning technology
  • Experienced dental assistants
  • Established hygiene program
  • Collaborative doctor support

The goal is simple: give doctors the technology, team, and autonomy necessary to diagnose comprehensively and deliver excellent dentistry efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits
  • 30% of collections
  • 100% PPO and Fee-for-Service patient base
  • Negotiable daily guarantee during ramp-up
  • W-2 employment
  • Medical insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Malpractice coverage
  • Continuing Education support
  • Annual conference benefit
Private Practice With Ownership Potential

This organization is privately owned and doctor-led.

We're looking for dentists who want the autonomy and culture of private practice while also benefiting from the resources, collaboration, and growth opportunities of an established multi-location group.

For highly qualified doctors who demonstrate strong clinical performance, leadership, cultural alignment, and a long-term commitment to the organization, there is a potential pathway to partnership and ownership.

Clinical Growth & Mentorship

We're open to both experienced dentists and exceptional newer clinicians.

This opportunity may be especially attractive to a dentist who wants to expand their capabilities in:

  • Implant dentistry
  • Surgical dentistry
  • Endodontics
  • CEREC and advanced restorative dentistry
  • Comprehensive treatment planning

Experienced mentorship and collaboration are available, while doctors are also given the autonomy to practice to the full extent of their abilities.

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in dentists who:

  • Want to practice comprehensive dentistry
  • Enjoy a broad clinical scope
  • Value clinical autonomy
  • Are comfortable with a busy PPO/FFS patient base
  • Want to build lasting patient relationships
  • Are motivated to grow clinically and financially
  • Work well within a collaborative team
  • Value the culture and independence of private practice
  • May ultimately be interested in partnership or ownership
Build Your Career in Herriman

This opportunity is ideal for a dentist who wants to build something long-term.

You'll have an established patient base, increasing new-patient demand, advanced technology, a broad procedure mix, clinical autonomy, and the potential to develop a meaningful future with a growing private dental group.

Interested? Apply confidentially with your resume and a brief introduction.
