Restore Associate information

What is a restore associate?

Restore Associates are employees who work in retail environments, particularly in stores that sell donated goods like Habitat for Humanity ReStores. Their primary responsibilities include receiving, sorting, pricing, and displaying donated items, assisting customers, and maintaining store cleanliness. They may also help with loading and unloading merchandise, providing customer service, and supporting the store’s fundraising and community goals. Restore Associates play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of these stores, which often support charitable housing initiatives.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a restore associate, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Restore Associate, you need basic retail skills, inventory management experience, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory tracking software, and warehouse equipment like pallet jacks is typically required. Strong customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills help you interact effectively with shoppers and donors. These abilities ensure smooth store operations, positive customer experiences, and effective support of the store’s mission.

What are some common challenges faced by restore associates, and how can they be managed effectively?

Restore Associates often encounter physical tasks such as lifting heavy items, organizing inventory, and assisting customers with varied needs, which can be physically demanding and fast-paced. Managing time efficiently during busy donation periods and maintaining a positive customer service attitude are key to success. Building strong communication skills and collaborating closely with team members helps create a supportive work environment, making it easier to handle daily challenges and provide excellent service.

Associate Dentist

Clinical Autonomy | Growth Opportunity

Build the career you Deserve

We’re a well-established, growing dental practice serving a loyal community, and we’re looking for a motivated, patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our team. This is an opportunity to practice dentistry the way it was meant to be practiced: with autonomy, support, and a clear path for long-term growth.

If you’re looking for a practice where your voice matters & your clinical judgment is respected, this is it.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling available — full-time or part-time options based on your goals.

Office Hours:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: Closed
Why Dentists Choose Us
  • 100% Clinical Autonomy – You decide how to diagnose and treat your patients

  • Established Patient Base – Walk into a full schedule in a trusted community practice

  • Modern, Technology-Driven Office – Digital X-rays, intraoral scanners, and up-to-date systems

  • Collaborative Team – Experienced staff and supportive doctors who value teamwork

  • Growth-Minded Environment – Mentorship available, but never micromanagement

  • Flexible Schedule - We strive to build schedules that work for both our providers and our patients.

The Role

As an Associate Dentist, you’ll focus on delivering high-quality, comprehensive care while building lasting patient relationships. You’ll have the freedom to practice confidently, supported by an efficient team and strong operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive exams, diagnose conditions, and create patient-centered treatment plans

  • Evaluate X-rays and clinical findings to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Provide preventive, restorative, and diagnostic care within your comfort level

  • Educate patients on oral health and long-term treatment options

  • Prescribe or administer medications as appropriate

  • Refer to specialists when clinically indicated

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

What We’re Looking For
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school

  • Active (or eligible) dental license

  • Strong diagnostic and treatment-planning skills

  • Patient-first mindset with high clinical standards

  • Desire to grow, contribute, and be part of something long-term

Let’s Talk

If you’re ready to join a practice that combines autonomy, stability, culture, and real opportunity, we’d love to connect.
