Job description

EDS is looking for a highly skilled Restoration Technician to join our growing team. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a vital role in restoring and repairing buildings and structures that have been damaged due to fire, water, mold, or other catastrophic events. Your expertise will help us bring buildings back to their pre-damaged condition, ensuring safety and functionality.

What You'll Do

  • Assess and evaluate damage to properties, including water damage, fire damage, and mold growth.
  • Develop and implement restoration plans in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Respond to work orders in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
  • Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification to minimize further damage.
  • Remove and dispose of damaged materials, such as carpet, drywall, and insulation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks.
  • Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent the spread of mold and bacteria.
  • Repair and restore damaged structures, including flooring, walls, and ceilings.
  • Document work performed and maintained accurate records of restoration projects.
