Job description

EDS is looking for a highly skilled Restoration Technician to join our growing team. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a vital role in restoring and repairing buildings and structures that have been damaged due to fire, water, mold, or other catastrophic events. Your expertise will help us bring buildings back to their pre-damaged condition, ensuring safety and functionality.What You'll DoAssess and evaluate damage to properties, including water damage, fire damage, and mold growth.Develop and implement restoration plans in accordance with industry standards and best practices.Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Respond to work orders in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification to minimize further damage.Remove and dispose of damaged materials, such as carpet, drywall, and insulation.Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks.Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent the spread of mold and bacteria.Repair and restore damaged structures, including flooring, walls, and ceilings.Document work performed and maintained accurate records of restoration projects.Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.Why You'll Love Working HereCompetitive pay: $19–$22/hr + performance bonusesFull benefits package (medical, dental, 401k, paid time off)Growth opportunities with a 30+ year industry leaderSupportive, team-first cultureLocal management backed by national resourcesPosition DetailsFull TimeTravel as needed for project assignmentsSchedule: on call 24/7 with nights/weekends as neededWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentProficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and customerAbility to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environmentsValid driver's license and clean MVRAble to pass background and drug screeningReliable, professional, and customer-focusedApply today and become an essential part of the EDS team!Environmental Diversified Services, Inc. is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
