At Restoration 1, we help people get their property and life back to normal when they're dealing with water, mold, or fire damage. We understand that our customers are going through a taxing and emotionally trying time. This is why our restoration specialists strive to be attentive, offer upfront communication, and valuable services to our customers.

Most people struggle to clean up the mess after a disaster such as a flood or fire. We've created a straightforward process to guide our customers through their property restoration. With one phone call, your life can get back to normal.

Job Title: General Laborer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to assist with restoration projects. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, supporting technicians with cleanup, demolition, and basic restoration tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with water, fire, and mold damage restoration projects
  • Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials (drywall, flooring, etc.)
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment (fans, dehumidifiers)
  • Clean and sanitize affected areas
  • Load and unload equipment and materials
  • Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

  • No experience required (training provided), but construction or restoration experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
  • Must be able to pass a background check and/or drug screening (if required)
