Location: 20 Rodborough Road, Frenchs Forest, NSW, 2086 Own the technology strategy behind every KFC order Lead the future of KFC's restaurant technology and next-generation POS transformation Flexible hybrid working environment & signature career development program Technology is at the heart of every KFC order. As our Product Owner – Restaurant Technology, you'll own the strategy, roadmap and delivery of the platforms that power ordering and fulfilment across more than 850 restaurants. Working with stakeholders across the business, you'll deliver innovative technology solutions, drive operational excellence and play a key role in shaping KFC's next-generation POS transformation.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR PRODUCT OWNER – RESTAURANT TECHNOLOGY
  • Own the strategy, roadmap and vision for KFC's ordering and fulfilment product portfolio.
  • Lead the next generation of ordering and fulfilment technology across 850+ restaurants.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from strategy and backlog prioritisation through to delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Marketing, Digital, Finance, Franchisees and Technology to define business requirements and future capability.
  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements and deliver initiatives using Agile methodologies.
  • Monitor product performance, KPIs and ROI to drive continuous improvement and maximise business value.
  • Lead the roadmap for KFC's next-generation POS transformation, balancing current operational needs with future technology strategy.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal technology teams to design, implement and optimise scalable technology solutions.
  • Build and manage strategic vendor relationships, ensuring delivery quality, commercial value and roadmap alignment.
  • Drive proof of concepts, pilot programs and technology rollouts, incorporating change management and operational readiness.
  • Champion operational excellence through product governance, lifecycle management, incident management and risk mitigation.
ABOUT YOU
  • 8+ years' experience in product, technical IT or a similar role.
  • Proven experience owning digital or technology products from strategy through to delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product delivery, including Scrum, backlog management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology initiatives across large, multi-stakeholder organisations.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to balance customer experience, operational outcomes and business value.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with restaurant, retail or QSR technology is highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce or a related discipline is advantageous.
