One of the most beloved resorts in New England, The Woodstock Inn & Resort, is seeking Restaurant Servers to join the team!

Job Summary:

The Server will be responsible to provide high-quality service and exceed all our customers’ expectations.

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: Starting $8.21 per hour plus tip pool.
    • The pay scale shown is the range that we reasonably expect to pay. Actual compensation offered may be adjusted based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
    • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full-time year-round
      • Breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts are available
      • Weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and ensure a high standard of hospitality from start to finish.
  • Present menus, explain dishes and specials, and offer wine and pairing suggestions.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary restrictions.
  • Perform tableside service when required (e.g., running food).
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables, service stations, and dining area.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Support team members and contribute to a smooth front-of-house operation.
  • Collect payments from tables.

Job Requirements:

  • Three months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort or private club required.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be passionate about service, and able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to lift & move 50 pounds.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
