Job description

Titleholders is the restaurant of Augusta Country Club, named for the women's golf tournament hosted on its grounds from 1937 to 1966. The Titleholders Championship plays a meaningful role in the rich history of the Augusta Country Club, and we wish to uphold the reputation and historical significance of the Club by continuing to provide excellent service to its members.
JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for providing the highest quality of services to all members and guests dining within the bar and restaurant areas. Servers are part of the dining experience, offering suggestions and recommendations, such as wine pairings helping to make the dining experience more intimate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Attend line-up at the beginning of shift
  • Greeting members
  • Serve food and beverage items by following proper club procedures
  • Memorize elaborate food/wine menus, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials to offer personalized recommendations.
  • Set up side stations and perform assigned side work
  • Utilizes digital system to input orders and transmit to the kitchen
  • Assembles food on trays ensuring proper condiments and side dishes are provided
  • Checks back to ensure Member/Guest satisfaction
  • Suggest and serves dessert, coffee and after dinner drinks
  • Keeps tables, dining room and bus station clean and tidy
  • Present bill to member
  • Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur
  • Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Attend line-up as directed by supervisor
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • Close shift in North Star (POS)
  • Put tickets in numerical order
  • Check out with Manager before leaving

  • Must be a team player and demonstrate organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and confidence.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Excellent verbal and telephone skills to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with our members.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have open availability for the following shifts:
    • Tuesday-Thursday Lunch 10:30AM-3PM; Dinner 5PM-close
    • Friday-Sunday Breakfast/Lunch 7AM-3PM; Dinner 5PM-close
