Summary:
Counter Servers ensure that our guests receive an exceptional level of in customer service and attention. This role encompasses both hands-on attention to multiple customers and orders simultaneously, while having a strong product knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service
·      Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcoming guests warmly, presenting and explaining menus, helping the host with seating them at a clean, prepared table.
·      Menu Knowledge: Answering questions about ingredients, food preparation, and potential allergens.
·      Order Taking: Accurately take food and drink orders, making note of special requests or modifications, and entering them correctly into the POS system.
·      Upselling: Suggesting additional items like appetizers, desserts, or specific beverages to enhance the guest's meal and increase sales. Communicating monthly specials or other available items that are not listed on our regular menu.
·      Attentiveness: Regularly checking on tables to ensure guests are enjoying their meals and tending to any other table side needs.
·      Problem Resolution: Handling customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly and knowing when to escalate a problem to management.
 
 
Dining Room Responsibilities
 
·      Preparing for Service: Performing opening duties including:
o   Setting tables
o   Refilling shakers, beverage fridge, paper products
o   Ensuring the counter and dining area is clean and organized

·      Table Maintenance: Clearing empty plates and glassware, Pre-Bussing to ensure the table stays neat and tidy throughout the dining experience
·      Closing Duties: Completing tasks at the end of a shift including:
o   Resetting tables
