Job description

Border Cafe in Burlington, MA is looking for a qualified Server to join our growing team to meet the demands of our fast past, fully operational, full service restaurant. Border Cafe is a staple of the restaurant scene and has been recognized for multiple awards and recognition for quality in food and service. We are continuing to grow daily, weekly, and monthly after getting the doors open to our loyal customers. If you are looking for a fast paced environment, high service standards and more importantly a place to make GREAT money please review the job description and qualifications below.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent customer services
  • Greet customers and present menus
  • Make suggestions based on their preferences
  • Take and serve food/drinks orders
  • Arrange table settings
  • Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
  • Deliver checks and collect payments
  • Communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
  • Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines

Qualifications for the ideal candidate would include the following traits but not limited:

  • Experience as a Restaurant Server
  • Experience with any ordering information system
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
