Restaurant Supervisor - Two One Restaurant - $21-$24 per hour!
Renaissance Westerville Hotel, one of the top-performing Renaissance Hotels in the country, is seeking an energetic, service-focused Restaurant Supervisor to join our award-winning team. About the Role
The Restaurant Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences across our restaurant, bar, and in-room dining operations. This position supervises Restaurant Servers, Room Service Attendants, Club Lounge Attendants, Baristas, Hosts/Hostesses, and Bartenders-ensuring professional, efficient, and guest-centered service during every shift.
You'll be hands-on, guest-facing, and instrumental in coaching and developing associates while maintaining a smooth, efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support front-of-house teams during restaurant, bar, and room service operations.
  • Open and close shifts in alignment with prescribed checklists and operational standards.
  • Train, maintain, and enforce all service standards using approved menus, tools, and resources.
  • Ensure a safe and sanitary environment is upheld for guests and associates; report any unsafe conditions.
  • Monitor staffing levels daily, evaluate business volume, and adjust coverage and overtime accordingly.
  • Conduct daily taste panels and menu classes for staff to maintain product knowledge and quality.
  • Empower associates to resolve guest concerns and deliver outstanding hospitality.
  • Participate in associate meetings, training sessions, and team development initiatives.
  • Manage restaurant party bookings, hospitality suite orders, and ensure effective communication across departments.
  • Assist with guest service during peak hours, including seating, service support, and guest interactions.
  • Oversee daily side work and ensure stations are reset and detailed according to SOPs.
  • Manage repair and maintenance needs through proper work order procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Previous restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred, ideally in an upscale or full-service environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, train, and support diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and guest-service abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume atmosphere.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
