About The Moore:

The Mooreis a landmark destination in the Miami Design District, comprised of a private members club, hotel and a collection of restaurants, retail, exhibition, event and office space. Housed in the District's circa-1922 Moore building, the reimagined, nearly 90,000-square-foot space integrates two, four-story structures located at the intersection of NE 40th Street and NE 2nd Avenue, and includesElastika, the site-specific commission created by the late artist and architect Zaha Hadid for the inaugural Design Miami/ exhibition in 2005.

The Moore'score programming extends throughout the building's four floors: The first floor is anchored by a public, all-day dining concept. Position Overview

As Torno Subito Restaurant Manager at The Moore, you will play a pivotal role in leading the front-of-house team and ensuring the seamless operation of our detail-oriented restaurant. With your exceptional leadership skills and passion for delivering extraordinary guest experiences, you will contribute to our reputation as a high-volume, high-quality, and Michelin-aspiring dining destination in Miami's Design District.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and elevate the overall guest experience, ensuring the highest level of service, attention to detail, and hospitality throughout the restaurant.

- Resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly and effectively, striving to exceed their expectations and leaving a lasting positive impression.

- Lead, inspire, and mentor the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, bartenders, runners, bussers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team's expertise in menu knowledge, service standards, liquor offerings, and wine pairings

- Ensure smooth and efficient service flow, orchestrating the synchronization between the kitchen and the front-of-house team to deliver flawlessly timed dining experiences.

- Monitor and maintain quality control in all aspects of restaurant operations, from table settings to overall ambiance.

- Develop and manage weekly staff schedules, taking into account seasonal demand, special events, and team members' availability.

- Supervise daily operations, providing guidance and support to staff during service to maintain the highest standards.

- Foster strong communication and collaboration with the culinary team, ensuring a seamless integration of front-of-house and back-of-house operation.

- Provide feedback to the kitchen regarding guest preferences, menu suggestions, and opportunities for improvement.

- Cultivate relationships with regular and VIP guests, ensuring their personalized preferences are well-documented and catered to during each visit.

- Proactively address VIP guest needs, anticipating and exceeding their expectations.

- Oversee the management of beverage inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.

- Work closely with suppliers to maintain the availability of premium ingredients and beverages.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a high volume, upscale restaurant, with a minimum of 2 years in a management/supervisory role.

- Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading a team to achieve excellence.

- In-depth knowledge of fine dining service, wine pairings, and luxury hospitality practices.

- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, remaining calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekend, and holidays as required in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to handle objects, grasp, turn, and hold items with hands.

- Capability to work on your feet for extended periods, totaling at least 8 hours.
