Compensation
$15 hourly

Basic skills required (but not limited to):
  • Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers.
  • Follow Marriott beverage standards and procedures, using Marriott's beverage manual and recipe book as references.
  • Know premium items - beer, wines, liquors and knows prices - can open bottle of wine.
  • Inform guests of all beverage, food, and bar promotions.
  • Clean bar of empty glasses and dishes.
  • Can answer basic questions, give directions and information about local areas.
  • Performs side work accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely beverage refills.
  • Uses daily opportunity to up sell when taking orders i.e. appetizers, desserts and beverages.
  • Have full knowledge of and fully comply with the state liquor laws.
  • Ensure the check is presented in a timely fashion.
  • Follow proper procedures for ringing guest checks and cash collecting procedures.
  • Make sure all drinks are entered into the POS system correctly.
  • Prior experience of a similar nature required
  • Accurately practices service standards on a daily basis.
  • Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Be able to lift, push and pull up to 30 lbs.
