Accounts Payable & HR Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Margaritaville Island Hotel is seeking an extremely organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Accounts Payable & HR Administrator. This position requires basic knowledge of accounting operations, mathematical skills, written and verbal English language communication skills and the ability to respond to guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.

This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits.

Qualifications:

· High school education or equivalent experience

· 2+ years of hotel or restaurant accounting experience preferred but not required

· Must have proficient use of calculator and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook

· Must have strong time management skills to meet deadlines

· Strong organization skills with attention to detail and a sense of urgency

· Able to maintain complete confidentiality and able to work projects through to completion

RESPONSIBILITIES will include, but not limited to

· Process Accounts Payable - to include coding, entering invoices, reconciling statements, contacting vendors for any discrepancies, preparing weekly check runs and assisting the Controller with month-end accruals.

· Daily Cash Reconciliation

· HR Administration – onboarding, new hire orientation, manage job postings and other miscellaneous HR and payroll administrative duties
