As a Respite Worker, you'll support children and adultswith intellectual or developmental disabilities in their homes and communitiesgiving family caregivers peace of mind and a needed break.

What You'll Do:
  • Support individuals on community outings, at home, or in group settings.
  • Build positive connections and assist with daily activities and goals.
  • Maintain clear notes and follow individualized care plans.
What We're Looking For:
  • Caring, reliable, and patient individuals.
  • Experience in developmental disabilities or relevant coursework (preferred).
  • Strong communication and sound judgment.

Must clear all background checks and registry screenings required by Shore and the State of Illinois before any contact with a person served, and maintain clearance throughout.
