Job Summary
OMCO Solar, a MacLean-Fogg Company, is hiring a Human Resources Manager at our Phoenix, Arizona facility. In this role, you will lead the full spectrum of plant-level HR functions, manage and develop the HR team, and partner with the General Manager and leadership team to align workforce strategies with operational goals.

  • Pay: $90,000-$115,000 per year

What You'll Do as a Human Resources Manager
  • Lead the plant's HR function and HR team, partnering with the Plant Manager and department leaders on workforce needs and business priorities.
  • Oversee workforce planning, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to support staffing requirements and operational goals.
  • Guide employee relations, including complex workplace concerns, conflict resolution, grievances, manager coaching, and employee development.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain HR policies, oversee investigations, and consult with legal counsel on complex matters.
  • Lead performance management and employee development processes, including evaluations, feedback, coaching, training, succession planning, and career growth initiatives.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and reward programs while supporting employee data and payroll accuracy through Dayforce and other HR systems.
  • Analyze workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends, support decision-making, and improve workforce effectiveness and plant performance.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and an inclusive workplace while advising plant leadership on HR strategies aligned with company goals.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive human resources experience.
  • Experience with Dayforce or another HRIS system.
  • Ability to lead and develop an HR team while aligning HR practices with organizational goals.
  • Strong communication and HR documentation skills, with the ability to listen effectively and work collaboratively across functions.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and sound decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage change, resolve workplace disputes fairly, and support a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Human resources experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
