Course Description
An examination of the law enforcement function in environmental and natural resources protection, public lands administration, and recreation management. This course serves as a prerequisite for acceptance into the Natural Resources Ranger Academy program and introduces students to the roles, responsibilities, policies, and practices associated with natural resource law enforcement.
Position Summary
The Semester Lecturer is responsible for teaching undergraduate students in a course focused on law enforcement within environmental and natural resources management settings. The lecturer will provide instruction on legal authorities, regulatory compliance, natural resource protection, public safety, recreation area management, and the role of conservation and park officers. The successful candidate will create an engaging learning environment that prepares students for advanced training and careers in natural resource law enforcement and resource protection.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
