As a resource manager, you manage a company's resources, whether those resources are staff, financial resources, or physical inventory. You direct the allocation of resources to various projects or departments to allow for the success of business and organizational goals. Resource managers are part of project development and coordination as well as human resource management, so your duties and responsibilities touch every piece of an organization, especially in smaller companies where you may be asked to directly oversee the allocation of resources.

Job Purpose:
- The HR Manager at EHM Senior Solutions will play a pivotal role in shaping the human resources strategy and ensuring its alignment with the company's overall mission. This position is responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager will foster a positive workplace culture that supports the growth and development of employees while ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the hiring of qualified candidates.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Foster a positive working environment and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably within the healthcare or senior care industry.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Experience in managing employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated success in recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
