Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for a dynamic Safety Intern to add to our Plant Human Resources Team in Denton, Texas.                  

This position can be full-time or part-time within a 7:00 AM -3:30PM schedule. This position will be through December 2026. 
 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Special Project Assistance including, but not limited to:

  • Assist with job hazard and risk assessment.
  • Assist with developing electronic forms and tracking systems for inspections.
  • Assist with benchmarking and gap analysis in preparation for ISO 45001:2018
  • Develop new training curriculum and update existing curriculum.
  • Rotation through the plant production departments
  • Assist with incident documentation, investigation, and root cause analysis
  • Participate in JHAs. risk assessments and safe work planning initiatives
  • Support in reinforcing a behavior based safety culture
  • Other tasks as assigned.
