Executive Director of Human Resources and Training & Development

Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) has appointed Dr. Joshua J. Black as the Executive Director of Human Resources and Training & Development, effective immediately.

In this role, Dr. Black will oversee all aspects of human resources, including:

  • policy development
  • employee relations
  • benefits administration
  • training and development
  • regulatory compliance

Dr. Black holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Adult Higher Education from Nova Southeastern University, an M.A. in Christian Ministries from Malone College, and a B.S. in Human Development from Lee University. He has served as Executive Director of Lee Online at Lee University and in progressive leadership roles at Indiana Wesleyan University.
