What You Will Do:

  • Support the Director of Human Resources in ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

  • Execute recruitment strategies to meet staffing needs and ensure affirmative action compliance.

  • Maintain compliance within the HRIS system, including onboarding, training assignments, certification tracking, and audit readiness.

  • Oversee the administration of workers' compensation claims and leave of absences

  • Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to design and implement a competitive compensation program, including conducting market wage surveys.

  • Facilitate training programs for managers and staff, including orientation, policy compliance, guest service, and employee development.

  • Monitor Human Resources-related documentation to ensure fair and consistent disciplinary actions and performance reviews.

  • Assist in the execution of performance management program, including goalsetting, performance reviews, and supporting ongoing staff development.

  • Assist in the management of employee relations programs to create a safe, consistent, and motivating work environment, addressing concerns and improving morale.

  • Prepare labor turnover reports, analyze trends, and recommend adjustments to recruitment and retention strategies.

Your Experience Includes:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role in hospitality or on a hotel property, with leadership experience preferred.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal labor laws, with the ability to ensure organizational compliance.

  • Experience in managing and executing recruitment, leaves of absence, learning & development, and worker's compensation processes.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.

  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and complex projects with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Skilled in building relationships and collaborating with diverse teams, promoting an inclusive and supportive work environment.

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
