To thrive as a Resource Aide, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and typically a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with resource management software, inventory tracking systems, and basic office tools like spreadsheets is beneficial. What is a resource aide?

Resource Aides are support staff who assist teachers, students, and other educational professionals in schools or community organizations. Their duties typically include helping with classroom activities, providing individual support to students, preparing learning materials, and sometimes supervising students in various settings. They play a crucial role in ensuring that students, especially those with special needs, receive the assistance required to succeed academically. Resource Aides often work under the direction of licensed teachers or special education professionals.

How does a resource aide typically collaborate with teachers and other support staff in a school setting?
