What are resorts with housing?

Resorts with housing are hospitality establishments that offer on-site or nearby accommodations specifically for their employees. These resorts provide staff housing to attract workers from out of the area and to make it easier for employees to live close to their workplace. Employee housing can range from dormitory-style rooms to shared apartments or private units, depending on the resort and location. Many resorts in popular tourist destinations, such as ski resorts or beach resorts, offer this benefit because local housing can be expensive or hard to find. Providing employee housing helps resorts maintain a reliable workforce, especially during peak seasons.

Building a supportive network among fellow staff and setting clear boundaries for downtime can help mitigate these challenges. Many resorts also offer staff activities or wellness programs to foster a sense of community and support employee well-being.
