Security Officer- 2nd Shift & Overnight
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Security Officer for 2nd Shift & Overnight. In this role, you will be responsible for the safety of guests, associates, vendors, contractors, and other people in all aquatic and dry attractions, public area, convention center, resort rooms, student housing, parking lots and other resort property while on duty.
Starting Rate: $18.00/HR
As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.
Key Responsibilities
  • Always comply with Kalahari standards and regulations to encourage safe hotel operations
  • Assist, as needed, with administering emergency procedures and protocol
  • Operate the security computer systems, cameras, and other office equipment
  • Work with and assist local law enforcement and safety personnel
  • Provide the utmost in confidentiality with every action take, verbally and written to protect the rights of guests, associates and Kalahari Resorts

  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by Associates, Supervisors, Department Heads, Senior Management, and guests.
