Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Resort Maintenance Technician specializing in Pools & Spas to join our dynamic team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of pool and spa cleanliness, safety, and functionality across our resort facilities. Your expertise will ensure that guests enjoy pristine swimming environments while adhering to safety protocols and water quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and passion for maintenance in a vibrant hospitality setting.

Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on pools, spas, and related equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety.
  • Repair and troubleshoot pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other mechanical components using hand tools and power tools.
  • Handle water treatment chemicals safely, including testing water quality and adjusting chemical levels to meet health standards.
  • Conduct regular pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming floors, brushing surfaces, and maintaining proper water circulation.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, repairs, and safety checks.
  • Respond promptly to guest or staff reports of equipment malfunctions or safety concerns related to pools and spas.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper chemical handling procedures and equipment usage.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a focus on pool systems or water features.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair equipment using hand tools and power tools efficiently.
