Job description

Are you the type of person who loves making a great first impression? Do you have an infectious personality that leaves people feeling happy and satisfied? Then we want YOU to join our team as a Bandon Dunes Golf Resort Host! As a Host, you'll be our guests' first point of contact, welcoming them with genuine hospitality and ensuring they have an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From managing reservations to coordinating with our team, you'll be the glue that keeps our operation running smoothly. This position will involve working weekends and evenings.
 
Please note: Applicants must be at least 21 years old, as this position involves serving alcohol. This is a part time position that will work weekends.
 
About Bandon Dunes Golf Resort:
Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to two 'Courses with a Mission': Bandon Preserve, an award-winning par-3 course, and Shorty's, which opened in 2024. All net proceeds from both courses fund the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation, supporting communities along the South Coast of Oregon.

What you'll do:
  • Greet guests like they're old friends and seat them with ease.
  • Manage reservations with a touch of efficiency and a whole lot of hospitality.
  • Keep menus spotless and ready for action.
  • Assist with drink refills-because no one should have an empty glass.
  • Keep the host stand organized and stocked with the essentials.
  • Handle take-out orders and make sure they're packaged perfectly.
  • Say goodbye with the same enthusiasm as the hello-because we want them to come back.
  • Help create a top-notch dining experience by being attentive, professional, and always ready to lend a hand.
What you bring:
  • A knack for making people feel welcome.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks without breaking a sweat.
  • A sharp eye for detail-because the little things matter.
  • The ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • A positive attitude and a polished, professional appearance.
  • Current OLCC certification.
