Black Desert Resort is an ultra-premium destination resort in Southern Utah offering luxury accommodations, refined dining, and elevated guest experiences. The Housekeeping team plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition of the resort to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
The House Attendant Specialist supports both daily housekeeping operations and specialized cleaning projects across the property.
Job Summary
The House Attendant Specialist - Full Time is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in public areas while also performing specialized deep-cleaning and maintenance projects throughout the resort. This role supports housekeeping operations through supply management and guest service, while executing projects such as carpet cleaning, floor care, window washing, power washing, and outdoor area maintenance.
This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring all areas of the resort meet Black Desert Resort's ultra-premium cleanliness standards.

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00/hour. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities including but not limited to
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Support housekeeping operations by restocking supplies, linen, and amenities throughout the property.
  • Assist guests and team members with requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform deep-cleaning projects including carpet cleaning, tile and floor care, and detailed surface cleaning.
  • Clean and maintain furniture, upholstery, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Operate specialized equipment such as carpet extractors, floor machines, and power washers.
  • Clean windows and glass surfaces, ensuring a polished and streak-free finish.
  • Maintain outdoor areas including pool decks, walkways, patios, and entryways.
  • Follow all safety procedures related to chemicals, equipment, and cleaning practices.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply needs.
  • Adapt to a flexible schedule based on project needs, including early morning start times.
  • Support additional housekeeping duties to maintain overall cleanliness standards.
  • Uphold Black Desert Resort's ultra-premium cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities maintenance preferred.
