The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a global hospitality leader to identify an experienced All-Inclusive & Resort Business Development Manager to drive awareness, engagement, and advocacy for a portfolio of all-inclusive and resort properties among wholesale partners and travel advisors throughout Texas.

Reporting to the Senior Leisure Business Development Manager, you'll translate each property's unique experiences, amenities, and brand differentiators into compelling, easy-to-sell messaging that empowers travel professionals to confidently recommend the portfolio.

You'll build and manage strategic relationships with wholesalers and front-line travel agents, positioning the portfolio as a preferred choice in fly-to vacation markets. Through a mix of in-person and virtual sales calls, training, joint marketing initiatives, trade shows, events, and targeted account planning, you'll drive new business opportunities and strengthen relationships across key travel distribution channels.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, you'll ensure consistent portfolio representation, alignment with commercial priorities, and successful execution of regional sales strategies.

What You’ll Do

Business Development Responsibilities

  • Support revenue growth through strategic partnerships with wholesale partners and travel agents
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, travel agents, and key stakeholders
  • Represent the portfolio through sales calls, webinars, training, FAM trips, and industry events
  • Plan and execute joint sales initiatives, agency visits, educational sessions, and promotional activities
  • Deliver tailored sales presentations and marketing materials to increase partner engagement and sales
  • Expand advisor reach by engaging travel agents through sales calls, training, and events
  • Translate property features, brand differentiators, and resort experiences into compelling sales messages
  • Deliver product education on key selling points, guest profiles, and the organization’s value proposition to travel advisors
  • Ensure product messaging is accurate, relevant, and competitive across all partner channels
  • Develop sales tools and supporting materials that strengthen product knowledge and enhance advisor confidence

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records for sales activities and partner interactions
  • Maintain an up-to-date Outlook calendar for meetings, sales calls, events, and travel
  • Manage expenses and submit required documentation on time
  • Participate in meetings, conference calls, and internal forums professionally
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support territory and business objectives
  • Work flexible hours and support additional business needs as required

Analytical & Commercial Responsibilities

  • Analyze wholesaler and travel-agent accounts to identify opportunities and prioritize high-potential relationships
  • Develop data-driven agency sales strategies to guide call planning, content, and engagement
  • Segment and prioritize wholesalers and travel agents based on performance, market opportunity, brand alignment, and growth potential
  • Tailor presentations and messaging using data insights
  • Review account performance trends to identify growth drivers, challenges, and new business opportunities
  • Use market insights, advisor feedback, and account knowledge to refine positioning and messaging, making the organization’s all-inclusive and resort portfolio easier for partners to understand, recommend, and sell

Personal Presentation / Other

  • Maintain a professional appearance in line with company’s brand standards
  • Store sales collateral and equipment securely and accessibly for field activities
  • Follow company policies for the use and care of company-issued equipment
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, organized, and representative of the company’s professional standards during business travel and sales appointments

What We Are Looking For

Location & Territory

  • Home base: Dallas or Houston, TX
  • Territory: Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas
  • Candidates must be based in Dallas or Houston with the ability to support the assigned multi-state territory.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of hospitality or travel industry sales experience
  • Experience delivering engaging training and educational sessions
  • Established network of travel advisors, host agencies, consortia, and wholesale partners in Texas and the Southwest

Additional Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent presentation, verbal/written communication, storytelling, and consultative selling skills
  • High product knowledge with strong attention to detail
  • Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Strong planning, organization, and territory management skills
  • Commercial mindset, prioritization, professionalism, and accountability
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Travel Expectations

  • Approximately 40% travel, primarily throughout Texas
  • Occasional out-of-state travel, including Mexico and the Caribbean, as needed

What You Can Expect

  • Annual base salary + up to 10% performance-based bonus
  • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for the employee
  • 20 days of paid vacation+ personal and sick days
  • Monthly phone allowance for employees who choose to use their personal device for business purposes
