We Are Looking For

The Associate Account Manager supports the regional sales team by managing day-to-day account activities for assigned accounts within the designated geography or territory. This role focuses on administrative facilitation, internal coordination, and execution of sales processes under the guidance of senior team members. This position contributes to revenue growth by maintaining strong customer relationships, handling routine sales support tasks, and assisting in achieving account quotas.


What You’ll Do

As an Associate Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Own day-to-day sales process execution and operational support for assigned accounts within the geography/territory, including relationship management, needs identification, quoting assistance, order fulfillment, and issue resolution
  • Manage a portfolio of tail accounts to maintain service levels and drive incremental revenue
  • Perform comprehensive order management, including order entry, acknowledgments, verification, tracking/status requests, change orders, expedites, push-outs, re-buys, cancellations, shipping method changes, and drop shipment coordination with Supply Chain
  • Address open order reports, hold-for-release orders, customer portals, and incoming calls, while managing general customer inquiries
  • Support quotation entry, RMA entry, and LTA processes for regional accounts through data gathering, coordination, review, and follow-up
  • Execute sales activities and track progress to support achievement of annual quotas, including receiving and qualifying SDR leads
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve account-specific issues and ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, monitor account health/metrics, and contribute to basic profitability and forecast reporting to support regional P&L visibility
  • Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests across assigned and tail accounts in a timely manner, escalating complex or high-impact matters to senior team members

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in sales support, customer service, account coordination, or a related administrative/sales role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and customer interactions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and follow established procedures and supervisory guidance
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to sales strategies and account management best practices
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
