Job description


Title: Resolution Plan Specialist
Duration: 6 Months
Location: New York, NYHybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office)
Job Description
This position is a part of the Resolution Plan Office (RPO), and reports to the head of RPO. The RPO is a centralized team for the development, oversight and maintenance of the 165(d) Resolution Plan / Title 1 Plan. Additionally, the team is also responsible for overseeing and harmonizing the stress continuum from BAU to Recovery and Resolution across various resiliency plans (CFP, CCP, Recovery and Resolution Plan), as well as acting a central crisis management liaison. This role will have significant visibility to senior management.
Key responsibilities
  • Support the head of RPO tolead the development and maintenance of key resolution capabilities, bypartnering with subject matter experts in multiple functions andbusinesses
  • Lead cross-functionalcoordination on the triennial Resolution Plan submission, and incorporatethe feedback from the stakeholders throughout the plan submission process
  • Facilitate the regulatoryinquiry with the stakeholders across 1st line, 2nd line and 3rd line ofdefense
  • Prepare materials for seniormanagement engagement
  • Document the key processes inthe policy and procedures regarding RRP
  • Review and revise thenarrative with regards to Resolution Strategy and Resolution CapabilityTesting and Assurance Framework

Requirements
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of relevantworking experience in large financial institutions, banks, law firm orconsulting firms
  • Prior experience inContingency Funding Plan, Capital Contingency Plan, Recovery Plan, orResolution Plan is preferred.
  • An Agile learner withsignificant intellectual curiosity to learn Resolution Plan, in order todevelop subject matter expertise
  • Ability to build relationshipwith stakeholders and influence people
  • Ability to communicatecomplex messages clearly and concisely in verbal and written form
  • Manage multiple priorities tomeet tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in ananalytical field such as economics, finance, accounting or law ispreferred.
