This is a 2nd shift position with hours being 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Extrusion operator - Cutoff operations duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Use saw to cut extruded product, serialize the product, and inspect the product for defects
• Document lot-controlled inspection of rods, slab, discs and serialization sheets
• Record product information and data onto the daily cutoff sheets
• Box/skid product that is cut
• Report any problems/defects/production issues to the shift supervisor
• Requisition resin for use on shop orders
• Assure proper resin is being loaded per predetermined requirements as stated on shop orders
• Clean, fill and maintain resin hoppers through the duration of the shop order
• Properly identify and return unused resin to warehouse
• Adherence to all plant safety regulations
• Report "near misses" and report potential safety hazards
• Maintain housekeeping in extrusion areas
Requirements
Cut-off operator requirements:
Mechanical Ability• Proper use of hand and power tools•
Basic awareness of electric and the risks attached•
Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs• High School Diploma or equivalent•
Valid Driver's License
Basic math and computer skills•
Good communication skills
