Job description

The Material Handler plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by safely receiving, storing, and moving resin materials throughout the facility. This position ensures accurate inventory, proper handling, and adherence to quality and safety standards. 

What You’ll Do

  • Load, unload, and move resin materials efficiently and safely
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and bills of lading
  • Label, store, and track inventory to maintain accuracy
  • Prepare resin for bin storage, including valve and system setup
  • Sample incoming materials according to quality standards
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment issues related to material handling and blending
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Identify and report quality concerns before shipment
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and recommend process enhancements
  • Crosstrain and assist team members as needed

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • At least 6 months of forklift experience in an industrial setting
  • Ability to read work instructions, safety procedures, and perform basic math
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to work in a physically active environment, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable working in a loud industrial setting with frequent movement (standing, walking, climbing, etc.)
