The primary focus is building structures and other specialty structures. We prioritize long-term relationships with our clients by providing expert engineering services across diverse sectors including commercial, institutional, education, healthcare, residential, entertainment, and government projects. We are seeking to hire at least one entry level structural engineer and a mid-level engineer.

As a Structural Engineer at Field & Tung, you will be instrumental in designing and analyzing structures that meet our clients' needs while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. This role is vital to our mission of providing top-notch engineering solutions and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural systems for a variety of building types using industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate with architects and project teams to develop innovative solutions.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and technical reports.
  • Manage project timelines and coordinate with clients and contractors.
  • Conduct site investigations and assessments to inform project decisions.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D for drafting and modeling.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase.
  • Prepare reports and technical documentation for clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress and address concerns

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education. Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Proven experience in structural engineering design, preferably within a consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD and other relevant structural engineering software tools.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technical writing skills for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
