Introduction
The Real Estate Assessments Office of Prince William County is searching for a Real Estate Appraiser Trainee in Woodbridge, Virginia. This is one of several positions that train and perform professional work in the appraisal of real property for assessment purposes.
About This Role:
The successful candidate will be trained to:
  • Assess real property using all three approaches to value (cost, income, sales comparison).
  • Collect and analyze information from various sources and conduct field inspections.
  • Enter information into the computer-assisted mass appraisal database.
  • Respond to inquiries concerning assessments.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of customer service experience

Preferences:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm or 8:30 am-5:00 pm in our Woodbridge office.
Special Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license
Hiring Salary Range: $28.32/HR - $34.58/HR
