Job Overview

The Sycamore of River Falls is a growing, we are a full-service senior living community with 84 apartments including 68 blended independent and assisted living and 16 memory care apartments in a secured neighborhood on first floor. The property has four villa patio twin home units with two bedroom and three bedroom options for active, independent seniors. The apartment building consists of a variety of studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom units. The underground parking garage has 50 parking stalls, maintenance rooms, and residentsโ€™ storage area. Managed by Ebenezer. This newer care facility is Located in River Falls, WI

This Residentย  Assistant/Caregiver position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.

64 hours in two weeks, Evening shifts. Full Benefits package.
Responsibilities

  • Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: Bathing/showering; Foot and fingernail care; Shaving; Dressing; Assistance with use of hearing aids and/or glasses; Hair care; Feeding; Toileting; Escorts; 1-2 person transfers and use of mechanical lift
  • Provides health-related services as directed
  • Performs specified home services
  • Follows cleaning schedule for the shift worked.
  • Delivers meal trays.
  • Assists with meal service in dining room.
  • Assists with preparing for and/or facilitating resident social and recreational activities as assigned and as requested.
  • Observes tenants/residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
  • Notifies appropriate staff of changes in physical and/or emotional conditions such as change in attitude or mood, loss of appetite, change in weight.
  • Serves as a mandated reporter and reports any concerns regarding potential mistreatment
  • Offers pertinent observations and input.
  • Responds appropriately to resident and building emergencies.
  • Demonstrates proper resident care procedures


Required Qualifications

  • Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone, fax machines.
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

  • One to Three Years related experience
